JeeGee recycled egg box bedding

Hi, just wondering if anyone has used this? JeeGee recycled egg box bedding, My local horse place has just started selling it and it sounds good-just wondered if it would be a pain, currently using hemp but finding it abit hard and spikey.

I’ve used the egg tray bedding before in their litter trays not in the full cage though. I stopped using it as the one I was buying (online) had eggshells and egg through it. It was quite absorbent though.

I used to use shredded egg tray bedding and if it's clean it's great. I kept getting batches that looked like they'd been shredded with the eggs still in them though. I now use ecobale which I find is always clean and it's just as good as the egg tray bedding.

Yeah that’s what I was getting too. As I bought it on line. If you’re able to check the bales before purchase it should be ok though.

cool, will have a look at it this week then, dont like the sound of bits of eggs in it though.

Yeah it was pretty yucky.
