Our cage is a C&C cages, 2x4 and it's spacious, beautiful, but...boring. Anyone got ideas to make it more fun? We've got some stuff coming, incidentally, do these look safe for piggy use?

I could get some lovely items from piggybedspreads.com but the expense of bringing them into the country may not be worth it..

My piggies love both of those! They have pretty much destroyed the carrot cottage and I am on my second set of those balls as William loves to destroy them. I also got a seagrass tunnel from pets at home and I had to buy another as William chewed the first one to bits lol. He is a bit of a chewer, whereas his brother Angus just likes to pull the hay out of the rack and spread it all over the fleece for fun haha. I have a couple of hanging wooden toys too and they like nibbling those, plus they make the cage look nice and don't take up much room :)

Oh and I forgot to say, Ziggys Piggies has cage liners and they are a very reasonable price. She is UK based too so the shipping cost is very reasonable. I have ordered some fleece items from her and will be ordering some liners on my next pay day as I am now skint having ordered a new c&c cage lol :D

Thank you! Will check her out right now!

IV just ordered some fleecy things from Ziggies Piggies...and like Helloitsbecca I am now skint...

Sigh. At least the piggies will have somewhere warm to cwtch if the climate drops too low. Yes, they are indoors but it can get cold in the back room.

Ahhh the financial struggles of being a cavy slave :xd: they are lucky they're cute because my bank balance ain't cute at the moment haha!

Ziggie's Piggies really does look perfect...oh, the things we buy for our furry potatoes...

I know, I am a piggy item buying addict! I'm actually considering buying a second hand sewing machine and seeing if I can make some stuff for them myself.

Did you order anything from Ziggies, Thecavyslave?

I have ordered before...her stuff really is good

That's what I am doing as Winter is coming and the back room isn't as warm as it would be if we had the log burner installed.

Me too...they will be warmer than me :)

But that is simply another excuse to snuggle them. Poppy is a right cuddle monster. Smudge is a tad more restless, but both only nip me when they need a wee...so considerate :):lol!:

IVe just ordered from ziggys piggies too! 2 Cage liners, tunnels, snuggle bag things, beds, hay bags, piddle pads and more stuff too!
