Jaw problem ? Muscular or bone .

Hello,

Does anyone know of jaw problems?

2 year old Sow splayed 4 months ago.

Suddenly big yawns throughout the day with noisy chewing. 7 days. Off her food a bit. Bit subdued also.

Took her to vet tonight.
No weight loss from spaying 4 months.
No obstruction
No dental problem
No lump

Vet gave her Metacalm to see if she stops behaviour . Maybe x ray or other scan.

Bit worried because of
A. Jaw pain causing distress.
B. Ongoing problem that causes weight loss.

Does anyone know anything about this ? Or suggestions.

I don’t have any experience of this but I think pain medication is a good place to start to see if there is any improvement. It’s good there has been no weight loss.
