I have a ton of Japanese knotweed around my house. I have done so much research and found nothing about dried jap knotweed. I was just wondering if you could build a guinea pig hut, house, tunnel, or something out of it. I will not physically feed it to them but I know they could and will chew it possibly. So just wanted to know if it was safe. If so, how would I go about glueing it together. Is there safe glue or something out there. I know nails wont be the best as its a wood they can easily chew thru and will get hurt on the nail. Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome to the forum

I would steer clear of it, if at all possible. It is related to Rhubarb and contains oxalic acid which will burn your piggies mouths if they eat it. Rhubarb leaves are poisonous to many animals, I would not risks it.

I agree with the advice above a definite no!
