Ivermectin Treatment and Cleaning

Hello!
So I have been prescribed ivermectin for my 5 guinea pigs (1 who is new and had her first dose at the vet, isolating before being introduced). Advice on how the process goes? Do I apply ivermectin before or after deep cleaning everything? How many doses should I apply to my 4 adult piggies who have a big infestation of hay mites? Fairly new to the whole treatment so any help would be good Thanks!

The vet should have given you the instructions on how to treat them all as the amount is given according to their weight. Treatment is given as part of a three treatment course over several weeks with certain intervals between each treatment to fully be effective and catch the life cycle of the mite.
