well not competely seperate as i only have one cage. I've had to split their sleepin house in two. I caught cheeky attackin ginger earlier on, biting her and jumpin on her back! Ginger is still really under the weather so she could really be doing without it. Haven't seen cheeky bite her again, although they keep butting the wall thing seperating them as if they want it back as one big house. Really don't know what to do! I don't want to have to completely seperate them!

two of my girls are like that, they fight, then get on, then fight and then get on. drives me up the wall rolleyes

thats exactly it, its really frustrating. I'm thinkin of maybe gettin two pigloos but i think they mite take up too much room in the cage, but i could get rid of the tube. They don't really like that to be honest so its constantly in and out of the cage anyway x

ooo that could be the problem actualy, they would probebly prefer a pigloo each. mine have four in their hutch but still bicker over the same one. tut tut x

think i'll maybe pick up a couple tomorro and see how they like that. I did but them a kind of fleece sleepin bag type thing but they haven't grasped the whole concept of sleeping inside it and pee on it instead lol x

haha yer i tryed them aswel, they did the same thing! i stick to pigloos and cosy cups now :)

Yes, I definitely think it is the sharing the bedspace that is causing the upset. Two pigloos is the way forward! How thick is your cozy? If it is thick enough it will stay open on its own. Having said that, a cuddle cup or cozy tunnel is a good alternative. I would say that of the items I sell tunnels are the most popular.

The fleece is quite thin, but it does have wire at te opening that is supposed to prop it open but it just flops down with the girls running over it. I only have a small pet shop local to me, but i will definately go in and have a look at alternatives. The owner is always really helpful and willing to order anything in. The girls seemed fine this morning now that the house has been split in two. They were both in their wee individual house x

If you feel like splashing out you might want to try a thicker cozy: mine are made from two layers of fleece whereas most you buy are one layer cotton and the other fleece. Sounds as if the extra house space has solved the problem, though!

just bought two big fleeces (i'm going to try and get rid of sawdust as it gets everywhere and fed up having to clean it up) and two domes so lets hope this solves the problem and they like the new set up.

new set up complete. Two domes and a lovely zebra print fleece. Ginger took it all in her stride and is happily lying in her dome, but ginger went crazy popcorning about everywhere and has near wrecked the place. she has pushed her dome out the way and is behind it digging the fleece. I think she wants under it to snuggle up lol x
