I've got a chirper!

I was woken up at 3.30am last night by the sound of an extremely loud piggy chirping. I wasn't even in the same room as them, the piggies live in the lounge and I was up stairs with the door closed.
It got louder and louder and faster and faster.
I've only ever heard the alarm chirp when a pig is distressed before but the more I think about it the more I'm convincing myself it was Jacques happily singing at the top of his voice.
I listened for a while, admittedly trying to work out what it was for sometime, I thought it was the washing machine squeaking as it span but then realised it had finished hours before. :))
I sneaked out my bedroom but they must of heard me on the stairs and stopped. I couldn't see any of them so they must have been in bed.
I'd love to know if it was him, I'll be listening out tonight incase there's a repeat performance.
Anyone else got a loud chirper?
 
both ches and maisie have chirped in the past. i never knew why they did it. ?/
 
Yes one of ours chirps really loudly but it has only happened about 3 times in the last 4 months. It is very loud! I like the sound though
 
One of my new boys chirped when he first arrived - but it was about 3 in the morning and stopped when we turnrd the light on - happened again last week - again it stopped when I turned the light on so I still dont know who it was!
 
Chirpy piggies! Was there a repeat performance? :))
 
Yep we have one , never had one chirp before but hes really loud, just the other night he was chirping for about 4 minutes, still dont know what it means
 
We had the pleasure only once, I thought a bit Bird had flown through the window! I wish I knew what it meant when they do this I do hope it's a happy sound
 
My pigs have done it twice in the 7 months I've had them, both times it's been Noah and I thought it was a bird lol
 
No repeat performance yet. I'd love to hear it again. I think I disturbed him too soon. I've since learnt there's a pig at the rescue he's from that chirps at the top of his voice when the veggies are coming, he starts off wheeking then it turns into a chirp getting faster and faster then into a song. I think Jacques was just getting going!

Awww it's a lovely sound. When we first got Sunny we were woken up by a noise. We thought it was a seagull! when we went into the piggy room all the other pigs were like statues looking at him in awe drool
