I've been offered a double hutch!

My future sister in laws piggies aren't using their double hutch they're a wee terrified of heights and not using the ramp no matter what she's tried! So she's shifting them back into the homemade 7ft by 3ft single hutch, which has the run attached.

And so she's kindly offered me the double hutch for Percy-Roo, if i want to use it over the summer after his op (I won't be putting him into the hutch till he's fully healed say six-eight weeks after the op?)

Now I know its not the most amazing hutch in the world, and I'm going to have too make the ramp easier to use, (some very helpful threads on here!) but i thought it was such a lovely offer.

One word hun - HUTCH COVER!

These hutches are fairly nice as they go but they do leak, I have the one storey version (Poppy Den) and it leaks, but a Snugglesafe cover has done the repair jobs I couldn't and has made it 100% waterproof. They make them specifically for this hutch, so go order one!

They are very spacious though, the depth is the best thing, so hard to find a proper 2ft deep hutch and this one really is. The divider is also like a shelf so you could add a step under it so they can get on TOP of the sleepy bit too!

Thank you, its quite sheltered where the hutch is at the moment as its under the roof but of course i will be ordering a hutch cover for extra protection and thank you! x
