Olly has taken a chunk out of max's ear and olly has a cut on his nose and back of his neck... Is that it now? no going back now that damage has been inflicted?

Max seems happy as larry alone in his cage. looks glad to see the back of olly so far. olly seemed to be the aggressor.

sadly once they have had the taste of blood its the end of that relationship, one of the main reasons we get so many males gp's in for rehoming is due to fighting.

I would try having them in cages right next to each other and see how they go with that. If they seem happy enough and there's no aggression in a few weeks (when their hormones have had a chance to cool down a bit) then maybe try a re-introduction in a neutral area with lots of food and hay. There will be a certain dominance structure to be re-established so be ready with a towel or something in case it turns into a fight. If they seem fine after an hour or two, put them back in a (totally cleaned out and re-arranged) cage together. I'd do this at a weekend or something when you can spend pretty much 24/7 keeping an eye on them. Good luck!

well truthfully i dont have any major dominance issues with mine but occasionally Smokey & Bandit will have a small scrap but I'm inclined to agree once it gets that bad i would def split and if neutered maybe get them a sow each?:)
