all comments are appreciated(well they are now anyway!).
ca, :)p!

It looks great. I would worry about the large open are not being covered if you have any sort of flying predators or cats around but the actual layout looks really good.

thanks yea, i have worryed about that but not exactlly sure what to fo, at the mo' i think they will be ok cause thay can run into part one. but i am probally wring, thanks!

You could try using an old shower curtain. They are nice and big so should stretch over, you can clip them to the edges of the run for security and they are waterproof as well as being a great sun shade. Plus they are cheap and easier to put on and off that wire mesh. i bought a couple of cheap ones from B&Q a couple of years ago and they are still going strong.

anyone? i need coments, please!

i cant see pics at work...boo hoo. I will look when i get home. And I must say.... I'm loving the open for suggestions attitude Pigpig! Much nicer, I just wish i could have my girls outside like yours!

You could probably make a "lid" yourself really easily pigpig - with a wood frame made from bits of offcuts you can pick up at a timber merchant you can get for a few quid, then stretch some chicken wire over the top and safely nail it in with nail hooks. :)

I honestly would recommend covering it up, cats and birds will get in there like a shot.

I'd recommend covering it too, birds etc can get in so quickly and just take a pig before they have a chance to run, it sounds far fetched but it's happened before and it's a lot more common than you'd think :( xx

what is the motivation behind this?
its just my opinion but it seems you are making a huge holding area to avoid contact with your piggies
it looks really impressive but i wonder how practical it is
how easy it is to access the hutches for cleaning regularly for example

i am not knocking it - its just my opinion and i am building a run myself so will conciter access etc

I agree with the others, it really needs a lid and I would also be a little bit worried about the pigs falling off the bridge, if they suddenly had a mad five minutes or decided to popcorn there isn't much to keep them safely on the top level.

It needs to be covered over completly to be totally safe from all preditors.
The added on run is that used just during the day while your outside with them the whole time it's available for them to use?
The guards on the ramps are not full all the way up the ramp and the still look to steep.
Mesh hole looks ok not a great idea though can it be closed at night?
Do you lock your piggies in a secure hutch during the night and when your not with them?
The space your providing them with is fantastic:) Lucky piggies. But it does need to be safe and secure for when your not around. It also needs to be easy for you to excess. It looks tricky even for me to get into and I am only a couple of inches taller than my ten year old.
You asked what people thought and I have done so no malice given.

it really needs a lid and i agree with Sandra, the bridgeis a bit iffy, i would certainly remove this, a piggie could easily popcorn, get excited or have a run in with another pig and fall and cause some serious damage.

Remember to provide hideouts for piggies, they naturally like to hide as it makes them feel safe

how many pigs is this set up for?

Yeah defiently needs a lid as its very dangerous at the moment. It still doesnt look safe to me. Like others have said the little run is more or use during the day. I'm really suposed a predetor hasnt got in yet
