My OH took this photo of Fern with Heather behind her and Rowan under the log roll...

And Rowan is clearly certain that the wooden house belongs to her!
Do they ever sit on top of it?
 
Poppy is the only one that really sits on top of the wooden house - she usually does that when i'm cutting up veggies and she wants me to hurry up
:lol!:

Or when Rowan is inside it and Poppy wants him to understand that it is still her property... :))

Fern started out being shy and the least confident, but now she's approaching 5months old and she's far braver. She has even tried to assert her dominance over Poppy a couple of times, though was very quickly and firmly put in her place and she backed down sharpish. Fern is now quite bossy with her sister Heather.

All 4 of them are still under a year old though, and it's possible the hierarchy could change in future. Poppy is clearly boss right now, with Rowan seeming to still be in the role of her trusted Deputy.

I would say Heather is very likely to stay at the bottom of the hierarchy. Heather is a total little diva but is very passive with the others. Poppy seems very fond of Heather though, she settles down with Heather a lot and washes her and runs quickly to investigate if Heather squeals for any reason. It's like Heather is going to stay being her own little baby. Poppy and Fern are friendly to each other but quite competitive, Fern seems to have a better bond to Rowan most of the time.

And Rowan is just a ladies man really - he loves them all! Don't think he'd let anybody steal any of his girls...

They sound like they all have a lovely bond with each other.

She really is :)) - i've considered taking her to the gym, but she was more interested in sniffing my carrot juice than leaving the house, so i figure she'd make a better healthy eating guru...
