Itching from shaved sites

Woody had to have another bladder flush on Thursday where both front legs were shaved , he seems to be itching more in those sites as you can imagine how itchy it must be! Is there any remedies to help relieve the itching? Thanks!

I'm itching just thinking about poor Woody!
@Lorcan I know skinnies can get dry skin... do you know what people recommend for that? Is it coconut oil or am I imagining things?

.PS: why do they get the legs shaved for a bladder flush? Sorry, we've never had one and I'm curious...

Coconut oil can dry the skin out more than not using it, because it can strip the skin's natural oils, and I've never used anything topical on mine, apologies

I believe his legs were shaved for the iv catheter to be placed!
