Hi all,

I cleaned my 2 sows out this evening and came across these huge brownish pee stains all over their bedding! I usually use different colour bedding so I was a little shocked to see the brown pee stains all over today and now I'm worrying there's something wrong with one of them. Are they blood stains? One of my piggies is 11 months old and the other is nearly 4 months old. Photos attached, any input much appreciated!

Pee oxidises when it hits air and turns brown. I think if it were blood there would be a more distinct pool of it.
Thank you for your response, this is reassuring! One of them hasn't been well recently with suspected bordetella and I think I'm on edge worrying that something else is around the corner!

Looks exactly the same as my piggies white bedding after a couple of days. Just the urine oxidizing. Dont worry about it
