So I follow quite a few guinea pig pages on instagram, and I noticed that one experienced pig owner had several stuffed toys in her cages, and one of them was a lambchop toy very similar to the one I just purchased. When I placed the toy in the cage, Tuulikki began nibbling at it, and I suddenly became scared she would ingest the fur and it would cause a blockage. I have since removed the toy. Am I being too much of a nervous hen? Is this toy safe? I've attached a photo.

If its baby safe its usually ok for animals. My Rory has a stuffed guinea pig toy that he's had since he was a baby and cuddles up to when hes cold! I've had to stitch it up a few times because he pulled out the stitching on her tummy. It should be ok as long as your pig doesn't start eating all the toy fur or trying to chew the plastic eyes out. Rory has nibbled it a few times but I think he was just testing it.
