Hey everyone we have recently got 2 guinea pigs they are currently housed in a skyline Maxi xxl, is this suitable for 2 boars? I’ve read some conflicting advice so just want to make sure I’m doing it right.
Many thanks

Unfortunately it is too small, especially for 2 boars.
Our cage size guide is here:
Cage Size Guide

It falls just below the recommended minimum at 119cm long, and this is the outside measurement so it actually comes in at around 118cm.

It may not sound like much, but every cm counts. especially for boars.

For a similar price the Ferplast Plaza 160 would be a good choice for 2 boars.

Brill il order them a new one today they are only little atm (7weekd) so the cage seems big for them but I guess it won’t take long for them to get big.
Thanks for your reply

I completely agree that the cage you mentioned isn’t suitable.
I have two boars myself and it is absolutely true that two boars need lots of room, particularly once they get to their teens. Lack of space can contribute to fall outs (being incompatible in character is the main reason for problems).
Also the other important thing with two is to have two of everything - food bowls, bottles, hay piles and at least one hidey per piggy.

We already have 2 of everything and mountains of hay 😍 i was recommended the skyline maxi but as I’ve done more research I’ve realised it’s probably too Small-which now confirms that it definitely is.
