So my two girls currently live in a 5ft by 2.5 ft hutch at the moment. As its winter they are wrapped in bubble wrap, covered with a duvet and have tarpaulin over top with a big tent over top of that (to keep wind and rain away) along with their bedroom being stuffed with hay every night. I would LOVE to bring them in for the winter but unfortunately my mum is scared of small furry animals so they come in for an hour a day for lap time in my bedroom. Sometimes i make a makeshift run in my bed room but was wondering if this would be suitable for them? I would love to buy a bigger one but unfortunately can't as my room isn't big enough, but it equates to about 9.6 square feet if you convert 37cm into 1.2ft and times by 8. I would love for them to come in for longer but don't want them to struggle adjusting back to the cold weather. When they get put back out they get a heat pad warmed up in the microwave for them and this Christmas along with some more tunnels and beds (and treats obviously) they are getting another heat pad so there is two. Is the pet pen a good enough size? Is there anything else I can do for my two girls? Its got really cold recently and I just want to make sure I'm doing everything I can for them.

Hi I've seen others use that type of run. I think they come in different sizes but I'm not sure if any of them are too small or not. Hopefully someone who has got one will be able to help.

Hi, I feel this would be a lovely idea as an indoor run. I know a lot of members of here have one of these and some spend a large part of the day in it. It's secure and easy to move too so i don't see the harm at all :)

Yes, lots of people use them as piggy runs, they're really good as they're lightweight, foldable and have a waterproof detachable base. Check the dimensions though to make sure you get a good size one for them to spend some time in.

Thank you :) I think this is 9.6 square ft. It's not as big as their hutch and I just wanted to make sure it was a good enough size

I think thats the standard size. I have been given a metal run, otherwise I would buy one of these myself. My previous housemates had one I used occasionally, it can be used indoors or outdoors too :)

Probably not suitable for more than two piggles at a time though.

I have this run and I'm not sure it's as big as you think. My maths is awful but I don't think it can be 9ft square. I would say it's a similar size to a 120cm cage. I used mine a lot when they were babies. If it's all the room you have then I'm sure it's fine to keep them safe inside for a bit.
