Is this safe to use for a fleece forest?

Hi all! Wanting to make a little fleece forest for my girls, just wondering if this is safe just in case they nibble/eat it?

I wouldn't, there will be a lot of fibres coming off that with cut edges. You would be much better using anti pill fleece which won't shed much if at all.
