Is this safe for piggies?

Hiya! so i was looking on pinterest and i saw someone had used this floor for their bunnies home! i know bunnies and piggies are completely different but i thought it was quite a good idea! would these kids play jigsaw mats be safe for the pigs to have to play on? i do wonder if it would be safe for them if they chew it and i know my pigs probably would chew it. just looking for another alternative for them to run around on when they come out for play time! thank you!

I wouldn’t want my boys eating it, but you could put a fleece throw over it to stop them from chewing on it?

I wonder if their claws might damage it? I use those for blocking out my knitting and they are quite soft.

I’m also not sure how easy they would be to clean pee out of.

We use some of these to help insulate our wooden floor for our piggies playtime. However they are well and truly hidden, with newspaper and fleece on top.

I used them when piggies were indoors and had floor time. But I covered them with puppy pads and a fleece. They couldn’t get access to them.

I have a friend who uses them for her bunnies. I would suggest an absorbent layer and fleece for piggies.
