Hi All,

My sister is looking for a square foldable run (she's setting up home for two sows), and has found this -
http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=812&pf_id=8418

I didn't think it looked ideal, but can anyone advise?

I've posted on the wanted section, but while I'm here I may as well mention it again - she is looking for a run and a large cage (preferably two storey), in the Shropshire/Powys area if anyone has anything suitable!

Many thanks!

I would say that looks a bit small tbh

My OH can make a run whatever size you want, if you're interested just pm me...when you can :)

I would say that was only suitable for a supervised "exercise area" not a full time living quarters as its not secure to protect from animal attacks.

A cat, dog, mink or fox would be in that in seconds.

hope that helps

Thanks both, it would just be for excersise as they would be housed indoors, although you are right, I think it would have to be supervised, my concern was it didn't look very sturdy or secure. Thanks Lizzie, I can't PM I don't think, but as you're based in Cornwall, I think delivery would be expensive? Thanks so much for the offer though.

with couriers it depends on the size...probably around £10-15, but that's a very rough guess...I could find out for you though.

That is too flimsy for a all the time run. Maybe for a outside run on the grass but don't let them live in it

That's the impression I had about it, and I read the reviews and everyone loved it, it seems. However, my gripe about it is that "net" top; as you said, a predator would be in it in a heartbeat if someone were not watching it every second. I would like it if they had something like that here, and only for exercise outdoors, but I would buy two of them to make it a bit larger AND to use the extra sides hard wired on as tops so that nothing could get in.
