Is this right to build a c&c cage with?

Hi I want to build a larger cage for Barnum and hopefully a new friend in the future. Can I build a c&c cage with this?

It needs a lid as I have a cat and dogs and although their very good with him I still wouldn't trust them! I'd also like a hay loft. How many panels do I need?

If you will be having 2 piggies you will need a minimum 4 x 2 grid set up so that's 12 grids, a 5 x 2 is better for boys really.

That would only leave you 8 grids, enough to make a lid if doing a 4 x 2. If you want a bigger cage with a hay loft you will need 2 packs (40 grids in total)
