Hello Community,

I have recently noticed my 10 month old Boar's poop change drastically. They used to be quite large and thin (Banana shaped as people normally say) and I've noticed recently they've gone much thicker and a slight curve in it I guess. I've tried searching on it but nothing seems to mention it as being anything major. Has he just increased his intake and that caused it.

His poop looks a dark brown which is healthy, and it is soft so he is not dehydrated. Basically a healthy poop, just got a lot thicker. I will attach an image (unpleasant but yeah)

Many thanks,

Dom R

They look fine to me. Has his diet changed at all? That can change what their poops look like.

They look healthy to me too! :) very fat lol. I would've have thought it is something to do with his diet too but nothing to worry about

His diet hasn't changed at all really. He gets the same veggies daily and a treat every couple of days. It just changed randomly which is why I got confused. Glad to get reassurance that it's normal. He's a large piggie at 1.3kg though.

I too believe it's nothing to worry about.

Some my piggies used to have the poos occasionally - shaped nicely, a bit fat/thick, and a bit soft so you can squash it easily.

When it continued for a few days I added a bit of probiotic powder to their food and it seemed to work. Maybe worth a try.
