hi guys I'm thinking of getting 2 guinea pigs from a local shelter.

But before me and my mum enquire we want to set everything up first so we have a few questions and a is this ok question.

Ok so were going to have a 5x2 or a 4x2 and was wondering if this stuff is ok to use as the bottom ( like corogated ) http://www.sheetplastics.co.uk/Acry...eet/3mm _Black_ Acrylic _Sheet?product_id=573

Number 2 , doesnt the correx stuff shake about or how is it connected to the cage , we was planning to hold it up with other grids.

Lastly with the use of fleece. Where can i get enough for a 5x2 and how much is it ? people suggest getting 2 so you can have 2 layers. and then 2 layers of towels underneath.

Is their any videos on how to set up a fleece system ?

hi! I've just changed from shavings to fleece and I use 2 whole newspapers as a base layer, then one towel then a think fleece doubled up and it seems to work very well.

I would go for 5ft by 2ft if you can, the more space the better.

I dont know a lot about correx and grids as I have a cage but I know a lot of other members use it and I'm sure they can advise you. However, do take a look at the 'sticky' thread about cages within the housing section, theres also a gallery so you can pick up ideas. :)
 
If you are pretty set on the cage you want then that's great. but I have this one

and it's so fabulous it's 4ft by 2ft and my boars loves it!

Thats a really nice looking house (dont like to call it a cage lol).

You have 2 in there and they still have enough room to move around, thats cool.

Will bare this in mind in case I get some more.
 
Anyone know where i can get a big sheet of this correx stuff for cheapish delerverd.

I'm in the UK :)
