My guinea pig cleveland is 1 year old and although he still shows his dominance at times with rumbling, he is a very loving brother to Teddy, his 6 month old cage mate. Whenever cleveland can't see teddy (if I'm holding him or something) cleveland does high pitched squeals. Is this something I should be concerned about or does he just really love him?

Cleveland has very obviously got separation issues. The high pitched squealing is what babies make when they have become separated from their mum and family to help mum find them again. ;)

Perhaps you can take care to take both boys out at the same time or cuddle Teddy within sight of Cleveland?
