I've just noticed that one my piggy's ears is white on the right side and regular grey ish on the left. Is this cause for concern?

Its always difficult to see from a photo, and any health concerns you should always consult a vet first. But piggies do sometimes have different coloured ears on each side- if the skin isnt sore or scabbed or broken, and he isnt scratching it, it may just be his natural skin colour- I have one piggy with black ears who has a freckle of white fur on the inside of one, and another piggy who has one half white/half black ear and another black ear, and also one with similar markings to yours whose ears change colour and go dark sometimes as she is part himilayan! But anything on an ear that is sore or red or scabbed or flaky or lumpy or making piggy scratch or shake their head needs a vet check :)

Thank you! No soreness or redness, so it's probably nothing to worry about. :)

Hi!

It the whitish patch is not crusty or scabbed, then it is most likely just a differing skin colour - if furred, the area would be white while the same patch in the other ear would grow golden fur.

If in any doubt, please see a vet.
