my guinea pig (butters) has been chewing in a strange way and I DONT KNOW WAS IS RONG. I went on google to try and crack the case but could not find anything. When she chews she sticks her tong out and opens her mouth really wide. I have owned her for about 5 years and she has never done this before. WHAT IS RONG?!

Hi! It is very likely that she has something stuck in her mouth/between her teeth. Please see a vet promptly as she struggles to chew and eat right now, which will impact on her weight and her gut movement.

Hi, I agree with the idea that she may have something caught in her teeth. Unlike us, guinea pigs cannot vomit so the action you see is the equivalent of us coughing/heaving when we get something stuck. I'd check between her teeth for anything like a strand of hay or a bit of material. My boys sometimes get hay caught between their teeth and after removing it they stop doing this action. If you cannot see anything and the action continues seek vet help.
