New Born Pup
I have a 2 year old girl named Luna and yesterday I adopted another girl to replace Luna's cage mate that sadly passed last month. And some of Luna's behavior towards the new piggie has left me confused and slightly worried because I had never seen it before. Their first initial introduction went really well, but once I put them into their cage together at home (yes it was freshly cleaned), Luna's behavior changed. I noticed that she started nibbling on my other piggie's ear and rubbing her face all over her neck? While she was doing this the other piggie didn't make any noise, but she seemed to just freeze. They were fine today, but now my new piggie freezes and runs away from Luna whenever she gets too close. So I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should do or if I should do anything with them? (I am new to owning guinea pigs, so I don't know if this is normal when it comes to dominant behavior)
