Is this hutch too small

Yes, it is too small. The minimum size for 2 piggies are 50cm x 120cm, as it is best to keep two piggies for company.

Depend's on how many piggie's but I would go for the biggest you can, it does seem small even for one piggy. Have you considered a C&C cage

Or a shed with hutch inside

Great tip, Audioheart!

For anyone else considering this hutch, despite size, the door is NOT suitable for outside use. Me and the OH tested one for 'fox proof ness' and were able to get our hands and forearms in very easily and yank the door open.

I have a similar larger one I used inside only, but would never use this outside.
