When I went to buy my usual meadow hay from Pets at Home this week they had completely run out! Therefore, I found a smaller bag to make do for a while until they restock. However, I've just noticed it says on the packaging, in very small print, it's for rabbits and doesn't mention guinea pigs! It's called "meadow hay with floral forage". It's 95% hay and the remaining 5% is made up of hibiscus, marigold and rose flowers. Has anyone used this for their guinea pigs? Is it safe? I don't want to risk poisoning my two! Although I googled each flower and the answer seems to be they are safe in small quantities, but I don't always trust Google!
