This is timothy hay I bought in bulk from the farm store, I saw other people did this and wanted to try. I shook all of the dust out of it already.

Stick your nose in it and give it a good old sniff! If it smells sweet like honey it's fine for your piggies. If it smells damp and musty then it's bad hay.

Yeah I’ve been spending $30 at least once every week its just gotten to be too much, I bought this hay in bulk for the same price I hope it lasts! I totally recommend doing this if you don’t already

It should last if you keep it somewhere dark and dry and cool
It’s a bargain for you as hay can get very expensive !

I’ve put them into large plastic bins with holes drilled into them which I’m keeping in the garage

The first photo is our Moto who sadly passed away January 19, the second photo is her son Stripes, third is Venom, and fourth is Dipper, Stripe’s father & Moto’s partner. (+ a bonus pic of Moto and Dipper because of his funny mouth)
