danny and dodger seem to have a run around the hutch every now and then. this morning after i had changed the bedding and put a load of fresh hay in, they seemed to leg it round the hutch-almost as if they were chasing each other..

just reading some other threads-does this sound like happy behaviour or are they just establishing a pecking order?

If they are chasing around like mad - it's popcorning. If one is trying to hump the other at the end of the chase, it's sorting out the dominance.

Sounds to me like they are either happy and excited about the fresh hay or yes they could be establishing a pecking order. Have they been together long? Mine sometime chase eachother around but not in a dominant way just playing 'chase'.

i didn't see any humping!:o:(|)

god-if they are popcorning maybe i am worrying too much about them!

I worry about mine all the time! Its only natural. Mine arent brothers but have bonded well and have been together for a year now. Nothing to worry about then if they were just popcorning. I love that word my parents laughed when I told them what they were doing when I first had them and my fiance always laughs when he sees them popcorning during floortime!

Sounds like they are happily playing away with each other! Congrats!
