That is the amount I give the boys twice a day. Is that enough do you think? Other question is I read they should only get 1-2 sprigs of coriander...is 4 sprigs x twice daily too much then? They do love it. About once or twice they have wheeked (loudly) when they've already had their dinner...does that mean they're hungry? I don't want them going hungry but neither do I want to overfeed either.

Today has been a lazy day for them, hope that's normal too...

This is about the amount I give too. When I first got my girls I made the mistake of massively over feeding them veg. It was my vet who said guinea pigs should be on around 90% hay and fresh grass, and just a small amount of veg and nuggets.

I give 2 sprigs of coriander, chunk of pepper, slice of cucumber and 1 green bean in morning then same again in the evening. I'll also add in "treats" like lettuce, courgette, sweetcorn, carrot, celery or blueberries a couple of times a week.

I give around that amount between two twice a day. They also have grass everyday.

I would say that that's enough that you're not starving them, but you could feed a bit more if you want. As long as they have lots of hay and maybe some grass they'll be fine. On top of lots of grass I give my 3 about half a pepper or equivalent between them once a day, but then I also give them small amounts as occasional treats.
And no, wheeking doesn't mean that they are starving, it means that they want you to THINK they are starving. :))

Also cauliflower isn't the greatest for them too have everyday.
I don't give it every day ☺️ Will be max twice a week.

You need some lettuce or spring greens in there x
Can I give either of these every day?

They also don't like pepper much anymore. It can still be left over the next morning sometimes. Should I still offer it?

Cheeky so and so's! My husband made me give in and give them each a small slice of cucumber yesterday because of all the noise

Lol, I suppose if you want to hear the telly....
Teehee luckily I wasn't watching tv at the time, though was talking.

They've spent most of today lying around and snoozing. No running around that I heard, and one or two popcorns. Is that normal?

Maybe they're too full lol. They might just be being quiet, but if you worried about them you could get them checked by the vet. I always find mine seem a lot quieter when I'm in the house through the day, but I think that's just because they're used to resting then as I'm not usually there.

They're probably just being quiet. There was a bit of moving around just now when I went downstairs.
