Is this dangerous or not?

Hey! Just wanted to ask wether Gloss Varnish is dangerous for Guinea pigs. We want to rebuild their house outside and paint it, and then obviously use the varnish afterwards. But I just wondered if my guinea pig ever bit the house (Becuase some Guineas do) would this harm them in anyway.
And if it does could anyone send me like an alternative option?

I would personally avoid, Cuprinol sell pet safe paint which is the only one I would use!
