Is this big enough?

I am moving my guinea-pigs into the shed for the winter and although I still need to fix a few holes in the shed I started putting a C&C cage together for my sows. I have 4 hutches and I can't fit them all in so the sows go in a cage instead. Do you think this is big enough for 3 sows?

Hi,

Yes a 4x3 c&c should be fine for three, I have two in a 4ftx2ft cage so that looks wider and I would say a maximum of three though

Thank you Also, what bedding would you suggest? I normally use woodshavings or vetbed, but the woodshavings would just fall out because there's no sides and I don't have enough vetbed to cover it.

Buy some tarpalin slip it under the board and peg it over part of the grids then the shavings will stay in. Or get some thin mdf board and rest it along the sides would work too.
