Is This Big Enough for a Couple of Piggies?

This is currently my temporary rabbit hutch. But we are getting a much bigger as this is far too small for a rabbit. We were hoping to sell it to a piggie owner, but I want to make sure that it is an okay size for a couple of guinea pigs first. xx

Yes this looks like a good sized hutch for 2 maybe 3 if they were sows i guess.

It would be fine in the summer for a couple of sows. Not boars though.

Looks ok for a couple of sows - i wouldn't put two boars in there though. The absolute smallest cage/hutch id use for two boys is 5ft x 2ft.

I have 3ft x 4ft for my 2 sows and I think that that is the perfect size for them so I'd say nothing small than a 3 x 4.

Looks great! May I say though, it might be best to put a neutered mixed sex pair. I would not put it past some people to see your advert and then go out and buy any boar and sow and forget that they reproduce lol Ignorance is bliss they say!

I think maybe saying it's just for females or mixed sex is really fussy for an advert... without sounding funny, my two boys lived in a 100cm cage for the start of there life with me, at the end of the day there's to levels which i know don't exactly meet the size requirements but the two areas mean one angry pig can be upstairs and one angry pig can be downstairs which i think makes it better than one cage even a slightly bigger one all on one level ?

just to add the 'additional items' bit makes it sound like they're for sale with the hutch ? but i'm assuming they're not ?

Thank you all. I guess you're right, at least the boars could separate on each level. I guess it would be up to the buyer.

A 6x2x2 double decker. Hopefully, we are going to ask the carpenter soon to make it.
