No, that hutch is too small- only 90cm.

The minimum recommended size for 2 piggies is 120cm x 60cm (4ft x 2ft). Even if you have 2 levels, the floor size needs to be this big so that they have room to run around. :)

great price, but yes too small for 2 guinea pigs xx

I can see that price is important to you, so try looking for bigger cages second hand on ebay. I recently brought a 2 tier Ferplast 100 for my daughters lone guinea pig for £43, it has been used for about 2 months and cost £130 from new, it still looks brand new. Hope this helps xx

hmmmm, that is almost a 120 x 60 though and the reviews say its pretty big?/

Here are some others that Ive seen for her -

Obviously the last one is great with lots of space but they dont have a large garden so they wont wont want to take up loads of room with a great big hutch.

Personally, I would rather they got a large indoor one anyway. They have the space inside.

Its very nice but they cant afford £100. :(

Ive seen some C&C grids for sale on here, which makes plenty of space even for 3 so I'm waiting to hear back from her as to whether she wants them. I'm also looking on ebay for her as well.

I am going to convince her to keep them inside, although she has a very safe and secluded garden. She wanted to keep them outside in summer and inside in winter, so I said that would be more expensive having 2 homes so why not just buy 1 big indoor one? ?/

I'm sure she will come round to my way of thinking :(|)

This one is better:

Please do encourage her to keep the guinea pigs indoors. I always feel so sorry for ones kept outside.

.... Wait for the angry comments from people who have theirs outside.:x

lol, i am a bit inbetween i have 5 indoors and 13 outdoors, but i do agree, i think pigs outdoors in the summer is fine but it gets so cold these winters that i spend every day worrying about my pigs, hence the reason i spent a ridiculous amount of money on a purpose built shed to keep thm warmer in the winter xx

Why not wait until she can afford it? I saved for aged to get my cage and stand before getting the girls. There is no rush.

I've seen this one and was tempted when we needed a temporary pen for a week for our two latest piggies - it is huge :))
We settled for the 120 in the end but had it have been needed on a permanent basis, would definitely have gone for this one.

She wont pay £100 for a cage, no matter how long she waits :(

I'm sure we would pick something up similar size on ebay, and shes already seen the piggies she wants so they do need to sort it out by next week.

The C&C grids on here is 5ft x 3ft which is plenty big enough for 2. :(|) and at £20 thats a bargain!

Mine is spare now that I have a c & c cage. :) It was fine for my two but now I have five.

I spent about £300 before I even got my girls. Took me about six months. :))

Theyre a young family that have just moved into a new house and then my brother in law lost his job :( so money is a bit tight at the moment.

I'm helping them with the piggies as much as I can though.

Maybe they should wait until things pick up. Can they afford to feed the piggies and have money aside for vets? You are so kind to be helping them.

I'm shocked that you even ask me that question?/

Of course they can afford to feed them, you dont think I would be encouraging them to take on any pets if they couldnt afford it do you :{ Ive already told them that if things get tight I will either help with the upkeep or take them in here.

Either way, no piggies are going to suffer -c

I did not mean any offence only sometimes people do not realise how expensive piggies are to keep. :(

No they know...Ive been through all that with them -

Food Bedding Toys Vets Veggies etc

.:(|) I have also given a dislclaimer to say that I will not be held responsible for any piggie addictions that may develop :))

They were going to get a cat, which I think is even more expensive than piggies.

And anyways, theres always anutie soozies pennies that are going to help as she no longer has her own piggie to spoil ;)

Hi , have you managed to sort out hosing for the piggies ? We have just upgraded to c&c and have 2 rabbit 120's with haylofts empty although I suspect 1 will be kept " just in case "
They have 2 pieces of vet bed to go with them . If your interested for your friend give us a message !
