So seeing as the nights are getting colder now, I have covered the piggies' hutch up. I was just wondering though, with the cover over, the hutch will be in darkness until about 7.30 tomorrow morning... Is this too long for it to be dark for them?

It's only the same as someone with indoor pigs going out for the evening... They'll be fine x

They will be fine.

Mine have a tarp that goes over their hutch at night - just reduces drafts and stops rain getting in. I put it over at around 9pm at night and un cover them at around 8.45am.

Isn't is usually dark at 7am in winter anyway?
I'm sure they'll be fine, it won't do them any harm providing they get some light
