Junior Guinea Pig
I'm asking for a friend of mine who lives in the back of beyond with very unreliable internet connection.
She has 2 girls and has just taken on a rescue neutered boy. The plan is to have them all live together once introductions are reliable. Shes put them together in a big neutral space with lots of hay/food and toys and there was no teeth chattering from any of them (if there was it was so quiet she didnt hear it), lots of rumbling from the boy and the most dominant girl and just general "talking" from all 3. LOTS of chasing and jumping from all of them though mainly the girls and he was squirted with wee from one of them.
They are apparently a little "jumpy" and "chasey" and not fully relaxed in each others company. Is this normal behaviour? When would it be considered safe to leave them in one hutch together? I'm also curious as I'm planning to have our boy neutered and live wirh 2 girls so I'm looking to see whats normal behaviour
