Is Swiss Chard ok for piggies

Little ills but ok.


Been given some Swiss Chard which has gone to seed a bit
Is it ok for piggies pls x

Mine love it. It may have gone a bit bitter if it's gone to seed so they may not like it. I only feed one leaf each at a time to mine, I don't know if it's high in calcium but I find my boars leave white pees on the fleece when they have it.

Yes, it is perfectly safe to feed and a good green to add to their diet if you can grow it or get it from somebody as it is not sold in supermarkets.

It's easy to grow. I kept it in a pot in the green house last winter, it's just gone to seed now after a year! I forgot to succession plant it so I've run out. I must get round to planting some more tomorrow.
