Hi,
Of my three sows, Pedro is often on her own. She eats and popcorns away and loves cuddles with us (of the three she's by far the most comfortable with human interaction), and zooms around the new c&c. It's just that she always lies on her own. I know Clover doesn't like her and they will not be in the same place together (if one goes in the run hutch, the other shoots straight out and will go elsewhere). Pedro and Flo will eat together, but Flo likes to snuggle Clover. As I said, Pedro seems ok (apart from a LOT of rumble strutting!), I just worry that she misses the comfort of snuggling with another pig.

My Sophie is the same. She has always been a loner and Mooli is very dominant with her yet I think she is happy. Not all piggies interact with their cage mates. I guess like us humans.

You're right, and thanks for that, it's reassuring to know others are the same. You do worry about your kids/ pigs not making friends though!

None of my pigs cuddle each other :( lol! I'm always sneaking in there trying to snatch a picture if it ever should occur ;)

Mine are the same, I have a couple of very independant ladies who would rather chill out on their own. A couple snuggle though :)

Nope, only really snuggly ones are Tikka and Salsa. Mavis aand Dory are pally with eachother but no one else and Chilli prefers her own company. Winnie and Lyza snuggle with eachother though :)

Not all pigs snuggle up. I only have a pair, so it's not a matter of one being left out, but they really don't cuddle up together much. They do sometimes both go in the pigloo at night, but in the daytime if one goes in, one goes out, and they definitely don't sleep snuggled up during the day at all. However, they are clearly friends and get along fine, so I don't worry about it. It's their choice, really!

Thanks, it's hard to understand how they can resist each other they're so cute ha ha!

Butterscotch prefers to chill alone instead of snuggling up being social with the other piggies. When she is out and playing with me, though, she is very playful and energetic. I guess it's normal, as Lola and Fluffie always cuddled together. x Primrose

Hi! I love the names of your piggies! Butterscotch sounds fun, I wonder if the 'loners' are more responsive to humans?
