Is my piggie sick or lazy?

I have 2 piggies called Harry & Mo, they’re 4 months old and they’re the cutest little guys ever. Mo has decided that he severely dislikes people (I’ve learnt to accept it although he does love a cheek scratch under his chin) and he stays hidden away and comes out for food or when he has zoomies.

Harry however, he’s the lovable one, he loves to be touched and made a fuss of, he’s constantly eating his hay, he will squeak and squeak until I kiss his nose (very cute I know!) but just recently he’s decided that he loves laying down, he’s started to lay down in the open so I think he’s just become comfortable and feels safe but at this point he’s laying down more than usual.. he’s still eating, drinking, pooping and his normal cheeky self but doesn’t squeak as often now. If he’s not eating hay then he’s laying down.

Does anyone else have lazy piggies or is my boy poorly?

I’ve called the vets and they said it doesn’t seem like a cause for concern but will see him on Monday, I’m just a little worried and wanted to know if anyone else had a similar piggie 🩵

It sounds like Harry is just feeling more comfortable in his surroundings and if he’s acting normal I wouldn’t worry especially if the vet doesn’t sound concerned. I would however keep an eye on him for any change in behaviour and take him for a check up if you’re concerned

He just sounds comfortable... most of my pigs love a good snooze. They have period of activity but otherwise really enjoy laying around napping. It must be a nice life!
