I’m afraid we can’t tell you from a photo. How has his weight and eating been? I would take him to the veg if you’re worried. Have a read of the guide I’ve linked to below as well.

We cannot tell you wether a piggy is bloated, pregnant or just fat or not from a picture; any of these requires a hands-on examination.

Youngsters grow in stages - one moment they are looking very fat and squat and the necxt week they are a lot thinner and longer.

How long have you had your piggy and how old is yours? In case you are dealing with a potential pet shop pregnancy.

Please feel the belly gently and please do not dig your fingers in. With bloat it is feeling hard; with severe bloat like the skin of a drum. Here is more information on bloat, which is a potentially life-threatening condition. The belly really balloons up with gas, and your piggy should be looking pretty ill if they have bad bloat and lose their appetite. Severe bloating should be seen by a vet as soon as possible as an emergency.
