TiddlesMidnight&Squeaky
Teenage Guinea Pig
Hey guys!
I have just taken some pictures of my hutch which houses my single abbysinian boar. We are hopefully getting him a young boar to keep him company in a few weeks and I was wondering if the hutch we have now is big enough for two? Or would I have to get a bigger one to accomodate both of them?
Here it is with all the doors closed.
The top level with doors open.
The bedding compartment. It has in it: a "litter" tray filled with hay and a christmas pudding bed. The stuff in the corner isnt damp. I think its the wood varnish, as it was handmade
The bottom level with doors closed
The bottom level with doors open. The bottom level used to have loads of toys and stuff in, but I've recently taken out most of them as Bubbles (my piggie) couldn't move around and popcorn as much as he'd like. He used to have: a cardboard house, hay rack, a "roll n chew" toy, a hanging chew toy, a litter tray, a cuddle cup, a cozy sack, an edible tube and various other small toys. Now he has: a cardboard house, hay rack, cozy sack, a "roll n chew" toy, a hanging chew toy, and of course, his hay, food, and veggies! I am going to get him another edible tube because he loved his last one!
and now, the man himself! He doesnt stop running, so its hard to get a good pigture of him. This is the best one I could find!
So, is it okay for two male piggies? Is my set up okay? Do I need more/less stuff? Please feel free to offer me constructive critisism and advice, I just want the best for my baby!
If my hutch is too small for them both, can anyone reccomend any bigger ones?
Thanks for reading xx
