Ive just gotten my sister and i's guinea pigs 3 days ago and they have runny noses and are sneezing. Should i be worried? And what can i do to help this without taking them to the vet? They seem to be eating and drinking fine.

Its near on impossible to say,
1st of all welcome to the forum,
There are lots of guides help information on here have a read it helps
Its not right a piggie sneezing, , sorry I can't be more helpful, , hope piggie improves

No one on the forum is a vet or is qualified to diagnose. Please take your piggies to the vets to have them checked. It's a good idea to get new piggies checked over anyway. Hopefully it's nothing serious, good luck :)
I believe there's a US vet locator on the forum somewhere but I don't know where so hopefully another member can link it for you.

Edit: I found the US vet locator :) Guinea Lynx :: GL's Vet List

I would advise you take your guinea pigs to a vet,to get the correct treatment.welcome to the forum,I'm sorry it's not under better circumstances.your piggies need prompt vet consultation.guinea lynx have recommended vets in the USA.

I'm a newbie here, but it sounds like your piggies should be checked by a vet and sooner rather than later. I hope it's nothing serious, but you won't know for sure until a vet examines them.

There is nothing you can do but take them to the vet I’m afraid. Is it money or transport that’s an issue?

Also please bear in mind that if you have only had your piggies for a few days then the pet shop is responsible for paying any vet bills as they were clearly already ill when you got them.
Keep all the receipts.

Hi and welcome

Please see a vet. We cannot diagnose sight unseen. Although sneezing and runny noses are generally more often caused by their new environment, it is important that you have them vet checked in case they have a potentially lethal (if left untreated) bacterial respiratory infection. A human cold is viral so symptoms are not exactly the same.

Make sure that you do not have any irritants in your room, like perfumed air fresheners and skin products, scent sticks, smoking, very dry radiator air etc. Is their hay dust extracted and what kind of bedding are you using?
Irritants to Avoid Around Guinea Pigs

If you have bought your piggies within the last month (USA; in the UK it is 2-3 weeks), you can reclaim any vet cost from the pet store.
