Is My Guinea Pig Eating Too Much?

I have a problem...
I give my piggie hay worth a day and he finishes it in 30 minutes. Then, he cries out for more food. Please help me, I am worried I might give him too much food. I don't want to overweigh him. My mom says he's fine, but still I am worried.

Your piggy should have unlimited hay. Mine munch on hay on and off all day (and night).If you look under the food section it tells you all about a good diet. Hay is really important to provide enough fibre to grind teeth down and keep the digestive system working properly. Hay won't make your piggy overweight, things like too much museli and treats are the things that will do that.

Yes, they can never have too much hay, so give him loads - hay is meant to be the major part of their diet.

hay should be available 24/7 so give him as much as he will eat. he won't get overweight from hay

Piggies need a huge amount of hay to give them the fibre they need in their diet and to keep,their teeth from over growing. You can't give a piggy too much hay so please give him as much as he wants,
