is my cage too small?

i've got two 4 month old piggies in here and am worried it's too small :( but i really cant make it any wider due to the space its in. i'd happily give them a 10x10 if i could! any suggestions on how i could adapt it to make more room or anything? thank you

2X3 I'm guessing is the size and for two piggies that isn't bad at all. a suggestion would be to make it one grid higher and make a top with one missing bottom part and make a ramp going threw that missing bottom grid. this will make the room they have double. Hope this makes sense and helps you out.
 
4x2 is the requirements for 2 pigs. Add a foot for each pig after that. So 5x2 for 3 and so on. :) What are the mesasurements of this cage. I am using Grids at the mo for 2 girlies and have 3 on the length but when I measure it it is four foot long so they are over a foot each! :)
 
its just a tiny bit less than 2x3 (due to area it's in). i will deffinatley do the idea of a higher up level, sounds great, thank you!
 
Late reply! just wanted to let you know, I moved my room around so I could make a better cage. It's now a full 2x3 with 2x1 upper level. They are much happier :)
 
I know :)) I may not have no room the move around my room but the piggies can run free so I don't mind the sacrifice! :)p
 
Hi Katie,

I think the cage i am doing is going to be similar to yours- would it be possible for you to post a pic of the new layout so i can get an idea of what to do with mine?

Plus what did you make the ramp out of and how do you secure it so it doesn't slip when the piggies are going up and down it?
 
heres mine i rencently built for my two (biscuit dark one and meggy ginger one) i am still trying to find away to attach the ramp so its not so steep i am using the large fiddlesticks from p@h for the ramp and cable ties i did use their other fiddlesticks as an 'A' frame at the foot of the ramp and that seemed to work but i think it unsettled them my moving stuff round so i took it down for now :{
