I have had my piggy Koto for just about over 3 years now, I love him dearly. Wheni got him he was sick with mange mites, and housed with a rabbit, yet quite friendly,so i quickly had to take him home. He was so tired that he slept for days, and was the only piggy out of my bunch who slept with his eyes closed most of the time. When he met Sam (my first guinea pig) another male (RIP) they didn't get along at all, and quickly tried to fight and mount one another, so i separated them. I have 3 female piggies and Koto the only boy now, housed separately from them. Koto is a sweet guinea pig who is housed alone in his own cage and at first there were several times i allowed him to see the females, though i was hesitant as i knew what happened with Sam (he got michelle pregnant, though i was told sam was a girl) But i notice when Koto is around the girls he either doesnt want to be bothered, and ignores them, or gets into it but not enough to fight, with my alpha female tabitha...little nips and shoving (mostly on tabithas part as she is like a prison guard at times)but nothing serious. Sam and other boars i have heard of get aroused very easily, and growl, mount etc...but Koto has never displayed such behavoir, once he completely ignored Michelle when she tried to sniff him out. He definetely isn't neutered. I have not housed him with the girls but he is right beside them to see them and communicate now, and sometimes play outside as long as i can supervise just in case they decided to get naughty when i turn my head...but even though i always supervise, he never tries to mate with them EVER..i dont get it? he's a boy I'm 110% sure, he's the largest boar i have ever seen actually, he looks like a big white bunny rabbit, though he isnt lol. Maybe he's old? though idk if age matters...confused*
