The guinea-pigs have been living in an unheated shed over winter, its also got a few holes in it as its quite old so it hasn't been much warmer than outside, but it's sheltered them from the rain and snow so its better than nothing :) Is it too soon for them to go back outside in their hutch?

I would say it is. The nights get very cold. Can you not get the shed heated and the holes filled in? They will be very cold otherwise.

I wouldnt put them out yet, my tortoise is still hibernating so it is still too cold for piggies. I am not sure what to do with my girls they have a hutch and it was in a walk in plastic greenhouse, shelter from the rain at least, but the flipping weather has torn the greenhouse. Need to have a rethink.

Ok, they'll stay in the shed for a bit longer :) They don't seem very cold in the shed, they've got lots of hay and shelters and I've sat in the shed with them without a coat on and I haven't felt too cold so I think they're ok :) I am going to see about getting the holes filled in though.
