Is it normal for piggies to yawn?

My Coco often lays down on me..and she yawns..3-4 times. Is this because she is tired or is the trying to show me something?

Also my other girl Pebbles like to chatter her teeth or smack them together, not in an angry way or anything..just tryig to figure out what that could mean?

I think it's completely normal for a guinea to yawn when relaxed, just like we do.
It's very sweet to watch actually x)

Piggies yawn when they are rlaxed ro just waking up from sleep, like we do.

They can also use a "yawn" during introductions. Showing their teeth in this situation is a thread and meant to keep other piggies from coming too close.

Pebbles perhabs just wants to register a little "back off" complaint?

The chatting teeth usually means they don't like something or are cross.
