I'm not sure what to do about Teddy. I got him out for a cuddle tonight and I noticed something was odd with him because he seemed very relaxed which normally he can't keep still and he wanted to go back in for a wee so for some reason I watched him going for a wee on a white towel so I noticed that when he weed there was a tint of red appeared then it sort of faded but still slightly noticeable on towel & then I discovered red spots in different places in the cage. This was recent because I cleaned him out earlier like I do everyday. I'm not sure whether to wait it out and see how he goes?. I haven't given him any fresh food that could cause red but it is usually dark orange when this happens isn't it?. I gave him treats last night like I do every night that had dried carrot bits in it but he's had these treats on & off for months with no issues so I don't think it is that.
He does drink alot but that's normal with him even though I did notice yesterday that he drank over a half of the bottle which is alot for a small Guinea pig.
He's also eating fine if that helps.
(In the second photo that is when I watched him go for a wee then it mostly faded afterwards but still tiny bit noticeable and other photos is when I discovered more red spots.)

Hi

This could be potentially blood. Please have your boy vet checked after the weekend. It could be the beginnings of a infection of some sort in the urinary tract, stones or - what you can check at home - coming from his bits. Less likely but worth a check.

I'll check his bits again to see that I haven't missed anything but I don't think it is that as he looks clean.
If there's no signs of any red spots after tonight over the weekend, do I still need to be worried? Sorry if that sounds bad as I don't like stressing them out by taking them to the vet every time I see an issue that is most likely nothing and it could be from the treats but not convinced it's that.

I've just had a look at the ingredients in the treats and it says "Sweet Potato, Carrot, Peas, Parsnip, Beetroot, Celery, Cucumber, Courgette, Broccoli" but would beetroot cause that much red? He's never had an issue with them before.

I would have him checked by the vet next week.
I've taken him to the vet today, the vet thinks the blood stains were from his foot but his foot wasn't bleeding when I picked him up last night and I'm pretty sure I watched the red tints coming out while he weed but I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't tell him I saw it because we were talking about other things that I forgot. He did test his urine and it was fine though he said. No medication given & I'll see how he goes. I'm glad it wasn't anything serious hopefully. I was impressed with the checks on his body that the vet gave him compared to the other vet that didn't do simple checks on my other Guinea pig.

Did he have a little cut/scab on his foot that might explain it?

Yes it seems like it, the vet found a mark in between his back toes but when I picked him up that night there was no blood on me or on anywhere else if it came from his foot. When I watched him wee I'm pretty sure there was red in his wee but maybe I was wrong & just over thinking it. He seems fine, no signs of blood so I'm glad about that.
I have no idea how he cut himself as the cage is safe. Odd!.
