Is He Happy ?

we clean our 4x2 c&C ( with 1x2 hayloft ) and we clean their poo in the morning and clean the poo again at night and fill up their food and hay.

When my mum brushes she takes all the stuff out so its a bare cage brushes the poo and then puts it back in.

Garry doesnt seem bothered but Larry runs up and down the ramp run really quickly and buckarros around jumps everywhere and cant contain himself.

Does this mean hes exited at the prospect of fresh hay and food or does he like the poo being cleaned or does he not like it , i dont know much about behaviour but it seems to me like he likes being cleaned out

I would say he sounds happy and excited. Piggies love it when their home is clean and they get fresh hay.

I wondered the same thing, my girls get really giddy when they are put in a fresh cage. they pop corn like crazy, its really cute

yeah when piggys jump around and go nuts like that it's called popcorning, and that's a sign of a very happy piggy i love watching them do that x

I cleaned my girls pen this morning which has become a slow process now as whilst removing fleeces and vetbedding, two of them have to come and sit on the back of my hand :{ They go beserk when it's all clean, popcorning upwards and sideways to the extent they almost lose their balance mallethead rolleyes
